For medium to long term care, CCU will set up the complete environment of an ICU - inclusive of medical equipment, medical staff, doctor consultations, physiotherapy, consumables and any specialist services like that of a nutritionist.
We cater to care for patients post Stroke, Brain or Spinal surgery, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and other Neuro disorders. Our Nursing Care Plan focusses on rehab and recovery at home, pain management, preventing complications like Brain Edema, seizures, DVT and electrolyte imbalance.
At CCU, we provide Supportive and Palliative Care, along with Pain Management. The Care Plan may include, but not limited to, IV, PICC/Central Line care, TPN, RT, Lymphoedema and Stoma care.
CCU’s carefully crafted Care Plan might include Pulmonary, LTOT, medication, bronchodilator inhalers, nebulisers and other recommended therapies.
Our clinical team; trained in infection control provides care for donor and the receiver. Part of the comprehensive care plan, is post-op wound management, diet and follow up appointments.
Various cardiac conditions like post CABG recovery, Cardiac Arrythmia, CAD, CHF, post MI, Pacemaker Interrogation are addressed by the Cardiac Care team. They are competent in managing central venous lines, administration of IV diuretics and antibiotics, EKG monitoring, diet and weight management, physical and occupational therapies.
